What is the 3D maze game?
The 3D maze game is a free browser maze — no install, no sign-up. Pick a difficulty from 1 to 20 and a fresh maze is generated on the spot; then escape it your way, either walking inside it in first-person view or studying the whole board in top-down view.
Every maze carries a short maze code. The same code always opens exactly the same maze, anywhere and anytime — so you can send it to a friend by link or QR and race the same maze, or print it on a single A4 sheet and keep playing on paper.
There is also a weekly challenge with five fresh mazes every week, global leaderboards, and printable pencil mazes — from a first maze for kids to a proper brain workout for adults, all in one place.
How to start
- Pick a difficulty. Levels 1-3 are small enough for a first-timer or a young child; levels 18-20 will keep adults lost for a good while.
- Pick a game mode. First-person view is an immersive walk inside the maze; top-down view is a route-finding puzzle over the whole board.
- Hit Start and the game opens immediately. Got a maze code from a friend? Paste it in the code field and start — the exact same maze opens for you.
Frequently asked questions
Is every maze freshly generated?
Yes. A new maze is generated from a seed every time you start. With 20 difficulty levels the variety is practically endless, and if you like a maze, just note its code to reopen it anytime.
What is a maze code?
A short address-like string attached to each maze. Identical codes mean identical mazes, and sharing, rematches, and the QR on printed sheets all run on this one code.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes. There are no accounts and no chat, and levels 1-3 are sized for children. Print a maze and it becomes a screen-free pencil game, too.
How do the two view modes differ?
First-person view is an exploration with limited sight inside the walls; top-down view is a puzzle of finding the shortest route from above. They feel very different, so records are ranked separately.
Can I print a maze on paper?
Yes. Any maze prints on a single A4 sheet, and scanning the QR on the printout reopens the very same maze online.
Where are my records stored?
Records are stored on your own device by default. After finishing a maze you can also enter a nickname to post your record to the global leaderboard and the weekly challenge.
